The stamp depicts - Burebista, king of the Dacians and the Capitoline Wolf, as a symbol of Latinity, and also constituent element of Uruguayan identity, next to the image of the king one can see an image of a "Charrua" (indigenous people of South America in present-day Uruguay). These are the two nations, related by their Latin connections, who in 1935, decided to establish diplomatic relations to strengthen their bonds and cooperation in favour of the defence of peace, freedom and democracy.

El sello representa - a Burebista, el primer gran rey dacio y a la Loba Capitolina como símbolo de la latinidad, además elemento constitutivo esencial de la identidad uruguaya, al lado del luminoso espíritu charrúa. Estos son los dos pueblos, emparentados por la fibra latina, que en 1935, decidieron establecer relaciones diplomáticas para estrechar su cooperación en pro de la defensa de la paz, de la libertad y de la democracia.
